Kimberly Borin

Kimberly Turse, Ed.M.
     Mrs. Kimberly Turse has been working in education for the last 16 years. She has taught regular and special education in grades K – 12. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher since 2000. Kim holds a Principal’s and Supervisor’s Certification. She earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in Psychology and Education. She continued her education at Rutgers University and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. She has won several grants over the years. The last grant (2010) was a $3500 grant through Lowe’s Toolbox for Education program.
     Kim has presented at the NJASCD Best Practices Workshop, as well as in many school districts. She has contributed to the Distinguished Education Program at Teacher’s College, Columbia University as a Content Specialist. She is very involved with her community and volunteers as a Brownie leader, Cub Scout Leader and in a local Junior Women’s Club Organization. She is married and has a son, age 11 and a daughter, age 7. She is excited about working with the many wonderful students, parents and staff at Gill St. Bernard’s.

Kimberly Ann Borin, Ed.D.
     Dr. Kimberly Borin has been working in education since 1989 and has served as an elementary school teacher, as well as elementary and high school counselor. She earned her doctorate from Rutgers University in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education in 2005. She earned a Masters of Education in College Counseling and Student Personnel Administration from the University of Delaware in 1989 and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership in 2010 from Centenary College.
     She has worked with children in South Africa, Egypt, Morocco and as Fulbright Group Scholar in Swaziland. She is a yoga teacher certified in Ananda Yoga, Karma Kids Yoga and recently Laughter Yoga! She designs programs that help children explore and experience a deeper connection with the natural world. In addition, she creates and teaches relaxation skills and story writing programs to everyone from Pre-School to Graduate School. She is very grateful to be working with the amazing students, families, and faculty of Gill St. Bernard’s.
